National anti-bullying week 2010, from 15 to 19 November 2010

The theme for this year is “Taking action together” and has a focus on the role of the bystander. Resources are available.

Action required: Pass onto anti-bullying/PSHE/citizenship co-ordinators and governors with relevant responsibilities. Plan your schools activities and explore the available resources.

School travel specialist scrutiny panel 2010/11

Ealing Council would like governors’ and schools’ views on school travel, in particular the value of school travel plans and the help the council gives schools with travel issues through a short survey.

Action required: For (head)teachers and governors to respond to the survey (circulated in mid-October) by Friday 19 November. To give other views to the panel and/or teachers are welcome to attend the panel’s meetings.
