Reminder: deleting school reports for 2003 – 2005

To free up some space on the EGfL, we will be deleting the 2003, 2004 and 2005 school reports pages. These reports can be accessed until 30 September 2010.

Action required: You can download and save school reports from 2003-2005 to your hard drive until Thursday 30 September 2010.

Important changes to October 2010 census return

There are changes to the way AS Level data needs to be returned in this year’s October census.

Action required: Please pass on to heads of sixth forms, bursars and data managers and return census by 7 October 2010.

2010 key stage 4 and 5 checking exercise

You can now access your achievement and attainment table checking data and submit any amendments (including details of any recent arrival pupils you would like removed from your figures) via the website: https://tableschecking.education.gov.uk.

Action required: Submit amendments and recent arrivals by Monday 11 October 2010. Email kprice@ealing.gov.uk the names of pupils you will be removing so we can remove them from your provisional report by Monday 11 October 2010.

National anti-bullying week 2010, from 15 to 19 November 2010

The theme for this year is “Taking action together” and has a focus on the role of the bystander. Resources are available.

School travel specialist scrutiny panel 2010/11

Ealing Council would like governors’ and schools’ views on school travel, in particular the value of school travel plans and the help the council gives schools with travel issues through a short survey.
