School uniform grant consultation – responses required - FINAL DAY TOMMORROW

Final reminder that the LA is reviewing its discretionary school uniform grant, currently paid to eligible parents to help with the cost of school uniforms. Surveys have been circulated and are also available on the council’s website. The consultation closes tomorrow - 31 March 2011.

Action required: If you or your chairs of governors haven’t yet completed the survey, please do so today or tomorrow either online or by paper copy. Also, encourage your PTA to complete the separate survey sent to them.

Services to Schools for 2011-12 - REMINDER

All information for the services to schools buy-back schemes on offer has now been published. We now need to know which services schools wish to subscribe to in order to readjust our workforce accordingly.

Ealing library service consultation – have your say

Ealing Council launched a consultation on the future of library services in Ealing on Wednesday 23 March. There is a survey that has been specifically designed for children under the age of 18 to complete. Your views will help the council to better understand how you use library services in Ealing. An adult survey is also available for teachers and school staff.

Action required: Please ensure that all school children are aware of the consultation and encourage them to complete it with their views. Please also pass on to teachers and school staff. Deadline for submissions is 3 May 2011.
