A consistent financial reporting (CFR) return is required from all schools maintained by the LA at the end of each financial year.
The schools budgetary control report (BCR) shows details of all revenue transactions throughout the year including:
At the end of the financial year the BCR will show the school's final outturn position (surplus/deficit)
All of the information on the BCR must be reflected in the schools financial accounts so that a comprehensive CFR return can be produced.

Schools must submit their final CFR return by Friday 11 June 2010 at the latest by e-mail to CFR@ealing.gov.uk or on the DCSF website.
Schools who fail to meet this deadline will be marked down on the three-level model.
Schools who use SIMS FMS must have upgraded to at least version 6.116 before they run the final CFR report.
