The salary costs of each teacher charged against your school's delegated budget comprise the basic salary including London weighting, allowances (eg management, social priority) and employer's contributions in respect of superannuation and National Insurance.

In estimating your school's teacher salary costs for the coming financial year, you will need to take into account future increases arising from pay awards (payable from 1 April) and increments (payable from 1 September).

In estimating your school's non-teachers' salaries costs for the coming financial year, you will need to take into account the agreed pay award at 2.75 per cent for 2003/04, 2.95 per cent for 2004/05 and 2.95 per cent for 2005/06.
