Standards Fund

The Standards Fund is a vital part of the government’s drive to raise educational standards. It contributes to the development and improvement agenda and therefore plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the new national primary and secondary strategies.

Schools will be able to spend their devolved funding on any purpose, providing that they deliver the outcomes and outputs of the grants for which they have an allocation. The aim is to ensure schools have the flexibility to use the funds to meet their own priorities.
