Capital code structure

Ealing’s capital codes are composed of 10 digits and are formatted: CCCCCCDDDD

The first six digits (CCCCCC) represent the cost centre code. Capital cost centres are primarily used to identify either the school or a specific capital project within a school.

Schools may be issued several capital cost centres depending on how schemes are funded.

The last four digits (DDDD) identify the detail code. This describes the nature of the expenditure incurred. A complete list of detail codes is set out below. These can only be used in conjunction with capital cost centres.
