Ealing announces School Governance Awards 2010 winners

Ealing's Governance Awards 2010 celebrates governors' achievements and excellence in school governance.

The response for this celebration has been great.  School staff and fellow governors have taken the time to nominate.  We received an impressive amount of nominations for the Awards 2010, which were held for the first time this year.

The judging panel deliberated long and hard to select the shortlist for these awards.

And the winners are...

Highly recommended: Mr Goss (Wood End Junior), Mr Bhinder (St Ann's), Mr McKenzie (Ravenor Primary), Mr Barr (Featherstone Primary and Nursery), Mr Shaw (Twyford High), Mr Zapanik (North Primary), Mrs Delger (Castlebar), Mrs Chapman (Brentside Primary), Mr Pathak (Featherstone High), Prof. Gillett (Montpelier Primary), Dr Hayward (Oaklands Primary),  Mrs Maloney (Mayfield Primary), Mr Darvill (Brentside High), Mr Scully (Mayfield Primary and Oaklands Full GB.)

Awards ceremony

All winners were invited to attend the ceremony on Thursday 22 July at 6pm at the Mayor's parlour. The winners received their awards from the Mayor Rajinder Mann and MP Steve Pound.
