Child protection courses

Child protection training courses are provided free of charge. School staff are able to apply for multi-agency courses offered by Ealing Safeguarding Children Board (ESCB). Education staff can also apply for specialist child protection training offered by Ealing school service.

Ealing Schools Service child protection training for education staff

The child protection courses offered by the LA's (local authority) schools service for education staff are detailed in the Ealing schools service child protection training for education staff programme (2008/9) (pdf). The range of courses reflects training needs identified by designated teachers.

Please use the application form (pdf) to enrol. Return it to the address shown on the form. You will receive written confirmation of your place. There is no charge for the courses. Attendance should be recorded in teachers' continuous professional development portfolios and reported to governors as part of an annual/termly report on child protection.
