Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)

The MARAC is a multi-agency panel chaired by the police which reviews high-risk domestic violence cases in Ealing. Panel members include social services, housing, probation, dv services, mental health services and drug/alcohol services.  Ealing MARAC has held seven meetings to date.

The panel meets monthly and accepts referrals from any professional:
Referral form (word)
To be returned to Uzma Butt, ASB/DV caseworker
email: buttuz@ealing.gov.uk

You can also attend the panel to discuss your case.

Each agency recieves referrals in advance so they can bring their most up-to-date information to the meeting.

The aim is to address immediate issues, including child protection, and put a plan in place to keep the victim and any children safe. The relevant service will agree an action and provide feedback to Uzma. Notes are taken from each case and reviewed at future MARAC meetings. Each case will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
