The project supports children, families and communities by offering a range of activities during holiday periods.

The project aims to:

give children and young people the chance to take part in positive, fun and stimulating activities in their free time
build services which are shaped around the needs expressed by children, young people, their families and communities
provide a safe environment for children and young people to spend their free time
enable children and young people to make healthy choices by providing activities that promote the advantages of a healthy lifestyle
promote community cohesion and providing opportunities for local people to build their skills and provide routes to training and employment

The provision of free, open access mobile play provision targeted at areas of deprivation also supports the strategic objectives and actions outlined in the boroughs Play Strategy namely:

All partners involved in the scheme bring a wealth of experience to the delivery of play activities to children and young people. West London YMCA delivers the project and activities are offered over all holidays, excluding Christmas.
