Kids Ealing Young Carers Project supports
young carers living in the borough of Ealing. A young carer is
defined as a child who plays a significant role in caring for a
person, family or otherwise in a manner which is inappropriate to
their age and stage of development.
The person who is being cared for may have a range of needs which can include:
Kids Ealing Young Carers Project supports these young carers with respite activities, which include days out in the school holidays, advocacy and advice when requested, and one-to-one support with a project worker when required. The project also hosts a group every twice a month after school, where young carers can meet, talk to others, receive information and take part in social activities.
