internet access
- the school’s use of network monitoring software
(secondary)

- teachers make good use of the safe tools within the MLE to
provide opportunities to reinforce e-Safety issues

be personalised to take account of individual circumstances, for
example students arriving at short notice or those at an early
stage of learning English
- opportunities are provided outside the school day for those
with limited access to technologies out of school
- opportunities are also provided to inspire and interest the
very able, gifted or talented to use their skills in positive and
productive ways
Leadership and management

technology and this is reflected in the unambiguous AUP for both
pupils and staff

evolved through a consultation process including staff, governors
and parents
- leaders have ensured that all e-safety aspects in the policy
are incorporated into curriculum and lesson planning
- guidance provided for parents and other stakeholders is
excellent and as a consequence they are active partners in
enabling their children to stay safe
- useful information and links are also available on the school
website
- all staff and pupils know what to do if issues arise and
policies for logging of incidents are consistently applied

order to gain a secure understanding of the safety issues

technologies to ensure that pupils are effectively protected
