PCP and PSfC

The Primary Capital Programme (PCP) is a national investment programme to improve primary school accomodations over a fourteen-year period. Ealing was allocated money from the PCP to spend on primary school buildings.

The council had to submit a strategy plan outlining it's priorities and vision to participate in the programme. This Primary Strategy for Change was approved by the government in 2008.

Increasing primary school places

Ealing is experiencing a significant rise in demand for places in our primary schools. This is largely due to increasing numbers of births in the borough but there are also more families applying for a place in Ealing’s primary schools.

Following a number of consultations, the council agreed in:

St Saviour's CE Infant school and Christ Church CE Junior school have also been consulting on proposals regarding possible amalgamation and expansion.
