Primary Capital Programme and Primary Strategy for Change
The Primary Capital Programme (PCP) is a national investment programme to improve primary school accomodations over a fourteen-year period. Ealing was allocated money from the PCP to spend on primary school buildings.
The council had to submit a strategy plan outlining it's priorities and vision to participate in the programme. This Primary Strategy for Change was approved by the government in 2008.
Ealing is experiencing a significant rise in demand for places in our primary schools. This is largely due to increasing numbers of births in the borough but there are also more families applying for a place in Ealing’s primary schools.
Following a number of consultations, the council agreed in:
St Saviour's CE Infant school and Christ Church CE Junior school have also been consulting on proposals regarding possible amalgamation and expansion.
