Building Schools for the Future (BSF)

Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a key government initiative, spanning a ten to fifteen year period, to rebuild or renew every secondary school in England in order 'to transform the learning experience of pupils and achieve a step change in education outcomes for children and other learners'.

Local authorities were invited to submit a readiness to deliver proposal (word) to the DCSF in October. Ealing has been accepted to enter Wave 5 of the BSF programme in September 2007. We are required to prepare a Strategy for Change which describes our vision for learning across the borough and the proposals for education provision that will realise our vision.
