About PFI
Information regarding public private partnerships (PPP) and private finance initiatives (PFI).
First PFI initiative
Brentside High School and Gifford Primary School, together with Downe Manor and Ravenor Primary Schools were awarded £33m of PFI credits to replace their existing buildings.
Second PFI initiative
In its second bid to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) Ealing was awarded £60m from the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) fund to redevelop two high schools and one primary school in the borough. Acton and Greenford High Schools will be rebuilt and a new school with a nursery unit attached will replace Featherstone Primary School and Glebe Nursery.
