Please note: The eProfile will no longer be available from July 2012.
The early years foundation stage eProfile is the electronic
version of the early years foundation stage profile, which schools
can use to record pupil progress throughout the early years.
It is designed to help schools to:
The eProfile provides an electronic means of building a record of assessment outcomes throughout the reception year, to support the making of final judgements for EYFS profile.
Version 3.3 (released September 2011) has been developed by Suffolk County Council on behalf of the DCSF and in close consultation with QCDA.
Version 3.3 is compatible with the previous eye-Profile versions (3 or 3.2) and data compiled within version 3 and 3.1 may continue to be viewed and analysed in version 3.2 (although you should ensure you back up any data you have on the eProfile before upgrading, just in case).
You can download version 3.3 (exe) onto computers within your school. When you click on the link, you should choose the option to 'save this program to disk', and then select the folder on your computer where you wish to download the file. Once this file has been downloaded, you will be able to find it in its saved location. Double click on the file icon to start the installation process, then work through the process on screen to install the eProfile onto your computer.
If you have not used the eProfile in the past, running this programme will install the new eyeProfile onto your computer. The software can then be run from your start menu or from the desktop icon.
