Gifted and talented (G&T) provision in Ealing is rich and diverse with individual schools offering a variety of in-class provision and wider learning experiences.
Whilst we recognise the strength of provision in our schools, Ealing local authority is beginning a project to develop a common strategic approach to G&T across our schools.
It is hoped that this will support the sharing of practice between different schools and institutions from early years, primary and secondary schools and post-16 providers.
A working party are currently developing a cross-phase G&T strategy document that we aim to publish in December 2010.
A network of lead teachers from across Ealing’s secondary schools are also working on building and developing links with primary colleagues. Any primary school teachers who would like to learn more about this should contact Carrie Sharman at the email below.
Ealing has undertaken extensive data analysis of the attainment and progress of our highest attainers. To request a full version of this document please contact Carrie Sharman.
Individual schools are anonymised but schools can request their own identifier by emailing Carrie Sharman.
