The overall aim of excellence in cities (EiC) is to raise the achievement of young people in the borough through schools working together in partnership. In Ealing all 13 high schools make up the partnership. The programme offers a real chance to transform urban secondary education and the results show that it is impacting on student attainment levels in all our schools.
Resources are targeted at the areas of greatest need with schools benefiting from additional staff, teaching materials, resources for training and new facilities for pupils.
