Secondary strategy

The key stage 3 strategy continues, but is now included as part of the extended National Secondary Strategy.

The key stage 3 ICT strategy supports the development of pupils’ ICT capability. In its initial stages the five main areas of focus are going to be:

Framework for teaching ICT capability: years 7, 8 and 9 (pdf)
A key document providing practical advice on planning, teaching and assessing ICT. The framework draws on the experience gained from the pilot programme for supporting the development of ICT capability and existing good practice in schools.
