CPD programme

The national PSHE CPD programme provides a valuable opportunity for teachers to develop their knowledge, understanding and teaching and learning skills in the delivery of PSHE in schools. The year-long programme aims to:

improve the competence and confidence of those delivering PSHE education
raise the quality of teaching and learning in PSHE education to improve the knowledge, understanding and skills of children and young people
affect positive change in PSHE education on curriculum planning, leadership, delivery and development within schools and other settings
provide accredited recognition for individuals’ knowledge, experience and skills related to teaching, learning and practice within PSHE education.
