Drugs, alcohol and tobacco support
Ealing Young Person’s Substance Misuse Partnership is a multi agency partnership with the aim to reduce / stop young people using drugs and alcohol, through early intervention, prevention and targeted education, advice, guidance, training, assessment and specialist treatment.
The two main service providers, SAFE and CRI EASY, provide drugs prevention or specialist treatment support as detailed below.
Referral
Please complete the drug use screeing tool (DUST) referral form (pdf) to help decide which service is best placed to meet the needs of the young person. Generally, DUST scores (section 1) that are 6 or below will be allocated to the SAFE early intervention service and those with a score of 7 or above will be allocated to the EASY treatment service.

The SAFE (Supportive Action for Families in Ealing) early intervention substance misuse service.
SAFE provide early intervention and prevention services in a variety of settings to children and young people at risk of substance misuse:
SAFE also provide drugs awareness and training for teachers, youth workers and professionals.

CRI EASY - specialist treatment service provider
The treatment provider service supports young people whose substance misuse is at a level where it significantly disrupts the young persons functioning. CRI EASY provide the specialist treatment as defined by the National Treatment Agency as
“…a care planned medical, psychosocial or harm reduction interventions aimed at alleviating current harm caused by a young person’s substance misuse.”
