Ealing's new online CPD website is now available

We are pleased to announce the launch of Ealing CPD online www.ealingcpd.org.uk which contains our directory of courses and support for school staff and governors.

You will be able to access this website to:

search for and book Ealing’s training and development online, from anywhere
view an up to date directory of Ealing’s courses and professional development events
receive booking confirmations and course details by email
keep a personal portfolio of all CPD attended
download course materials and certificates of attendance
create a personal profile and receive email alerts about courses in areas of interest

The website will require each user to register before training can be booked.
Once registered as a new user you will be emailed your username and password to enable you to log in to the website. Information about how to set up your account and use the website can be found in the general user guide (word).
We advise that you use an individual email address when you register as this will allow you to receive course notifications and email alerts directly, rather than them going to the school email account.

Before any bookings are made it will be necessary to seek permission from your CPD leader. Once the booking has been made an automatic email will be sent to your CPD leader to authorise the booking.

CPD leaders will also be able to book you onto events where appropriate. CPD leaders can access the CPD leader user guide (word) to find instructions about how to authorise colleague’s bookings and create reports.

We are now taking bookings for events including all courses, meetings, workshops and conferences listed on the website and in the Continuing Professional Development and training interim programme 2011-12 (pdf). All future training events will appear on the website.

Booking arrangements through the transition to the new system

for events taking place during May 2011 please book using the paper application at the back of the programme
for events from June 2011, please book by logging on to Ealing CPD online and setting yourself up as a user, or asking your CPD leader to set you up
the full year’s programme will be available online before September when all bookings will be via Ealing CPD online

Longer term development will enable schools to use Ealing CPD online as a platform to share their expertise and professional development opportunities with other schools in the borough. This will help to provide opportunities for professional development in an efficient and cost effective way.
