A central aim of the No Learner Left Behind project is to place parents at the heart of the project, involving them as equal and valued partners in the work within schools.
In November 2019, Parents were invited to attend initial meetings of a newly formed Black Caribbean Parents Forum (BCFM) with the intention that overtime the group would become led by parents.
The Black Caribbean Parents Forum now has an active steering group consisting of parent representatives, professionals from the Community Empowerment Network, Oshun Education and Ealing Council and the group is Chaired by a parent.
