Checking the reports

Please check details carefully as this information will be used to calculate the mid-year adjustment to your SEN funding.

These schedules reflect the current position. It is very important that his information is checked thorougly as it will result in correct payment in the midyear adjustment and funding either being clawed back from schools or missed.

Additionally, this information will also be used when calculating SEN support funding in 2017/18.

Check the following information for funding is correct in the current financial year 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018:

  • Pupil names, if anyone should have left or is missing completely
  • Primary special need matches your records, some are blank
  • They are attending and the dates for funding are correct
  • The top up amount agreed is correct.

Please feedback amendments to SEND co-ordinators by 31 August 2017 as we wil need to make the adjustments in September 2017. The name of the co-ordinator responsible can be found on the schedule next to each pupil.

Note: OB pupil’s entries are no longer included in these reports. This is due to changes in how funding is recouped.
