23 October 2020: let us know your intentions

Academies, foundation schools and voluntary aided schools need to complete and return the 'pro-forma intentions on consultation for admissions arrangements 2022/23' (under downloads) by Friday 23 October 2020 to inform the Local Authority whether they intend to change the 2022/23 admissions arrangements or not. This includes any proposal to reduce the planned admission number.

Academies, foundation schools and voluntary aided schools who intend to change their admission arrangements and would like the LA to carry out the consultation on their behalf must provide the proposed admission arrangements for 2022/23 to Joanne Bradley (contact details below) for consultation by Friday 23 October 2020.

Please note that the LA will not be able to run the consultation for any academies, foundation schools or voluntary aided schools that intend to consult and do not provide the completed pro-forma with the proposed admissions arrangements by the 23 October 2020.

Please download the timetable for information on the consultation deadlines and dates by which admissions authorities must determine their arrangements for 2022/23 admissions.

The LA will be reviewing the community primary school published admissions numbers for 2022/23 based on projected figures for reception 2022 entry and may be contacting schools where a reduction is indicated, before going to consultation on the 9 November 2020.
