Ealing governor / trustee recruitment event - request for school boards to sign up

Together with Governors for Schools we will be holding our annual governor recruitment event on Thursday 11 March 2021, 6.15 - 7.30pm.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions we will, for the first time ever, be hosting the event on line via Zoom.

School governing boards with vacancies

We currently have 30 potential new governors signed up for the event and with two weeks to go, we expect this number to be significantly more. However, we only have two schools who have confirmed attendance.

Our records show that across Ealing we have over 100 vacancies that could be filled by this event. For the event to succeed we need those who have or soon will have vacancies to attend. This helps you fill places on your board but also enables us to give a positive message to new and enthusiastic potential recruits that Ealing is the place for them to volunteer!

If you have, or will have, vacancies that could be filled by Governors for Schools candidates, please ensure that you are represented at this event and confirm attendance to governors@ealing.gov.uk by Tuesday 9 March 2021.

Please also register governing board vacancy details on the Governors for Schools website.

NB when sending email details to us, please can you ensure we have the email address you will be using to access the event via Zoom on the day. This is so we can set up breakout rooms successfully.
