Special discount offer for schools to advertise in the council's magazine
08 Jun 2021
Once again, the autumn edition of Ealing Council’s Around Ealing magazine will be themed around learning and skills. And, again, local schools are being offered a special, discounted rate to advertise in this edition.
Around Ealing will be delivered by hand to all homes in the borough in the first week of September (2021), with the new term getting under way and people thinking about the school selection deadlines. There will, as usual, be a piece of editorial on the deadlines for applying for high school places and guidance on how to apply.
You have the chance to snap-up one of the available advertising slots before they go.
As you probably know, it is very popular for schools to book a full page and use it for ‘advertorial’, in the style of an editorial feature. But, whatever your preferred size, we can lay-out the advert for you – at a small, additional cost – or you can supply the artwork, following our specifications.
The significantly discounted rates (excluding VAT) are as follows:
Early bird. If booked before 12noon on Friday, 2 July:
- Full page: £1,000
- Half page: £600
- Quarter page: £360.
Booked after 12noon on Friday, 2 July but before 12noon on Friday, 9 July (space permitting):
- Full page: £1,200
- Half page: £700
- Quarter page: £400.
After Friday, 9 July, prices will revert to standard, rate-card costs.
Design – for a small fee (£65 for a full page; £40 for a smaller advert) we can get your advert/advertorial designed, too. We would need your materials no later than 5pm on Tuesday, 13 July.
What to do next
This is a one-off offer and priority will be given on a first come, first served basis, depending on availability.
Please contact the editor Richard Nadal at firstname.lastname@example.org, to check availability.
Once availability is confirmed, you will be provided with a booking confirmation form, which you will need to complete and return to secure your booking – and design support, if required.
Around Ealing has a distribution of 138,000 copies, including every home address in the borough. Additionally, interactive (and PDF) versions are also available online and this is promoted by a regular subscriber email and via Twitter and Facebook.
