Action required: Schools are asked to forward the attached flyer to African and African Caribbean parents.

The Queen Nzinga Saturday School Club offers children from the ages of 7 to 13 a cultural enrichment space

  • with a curriculum co-designed by parents, volunteers, qualified teachers and students in the community.
  • offering academic and cultural excellence through African-centred teaching.

The Saturday school is delivered by members of Parent Action and Resource Centre (PARC). PARC is a community organisation established in 2016 with the mission to address the inequalities that currently exist in the education system and help create an inclusive education system for all.

Parents of mixed race (African and African Caribbean) pupils may also find the Saturday school club useful.

Anyone interested in joining the Queen Nzinga Saturday School Club as a parent, a volunteer or enrolling their child is asked to contact Ade on ade@parentsactionresource.org.uk
