Supporting school-aged immunisations in Ealing

07 Oct 2025

National immunisation programme

This system plays a vital role in protecting children, families, and school communities from influenza and other vaccine-preventable diseases.

In Ealing, Vaccination UK delivers school-aged immunisations throughout the academic year to children aged 4–16. These include:

  • Nasal flu (influenza) for all eligible children
  • HPV (human papilloma virus) for secondary school pupils
  • Teenage booster (Td/IPV)
  • Meningitis ACWY (MenACWY)
  • MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) for those who have missed or require it

Support required from schools

To ensure all schools are visited and all eligible children are reached, please:

  • Prioritise and adhere to vaccination dates agreed with Vaccination UK
  • Support communication with parents to encourage consent and maximise uptake

This will help ensure the smooth and effective delivery of the programme across the borough.
