Ealing school to school directory of good practice 2015/16 contains guidelines on collaborative working and encourages good practice.

Additional benefits include providing rich opportunities for the development of teachers and leaders and bringing staff together to devise new practices as equal partners.

Moderators

Key stage 1 moderators have been trained by the local authority to look at L1 – L3 in reading, writing and mathematics.

Key stage 2 moderators have passed the standardisation exercise set by the DfE and can moderate from L2 – L6. They have been trained by the local authority.

These practitioners are available to support schools in looking at children’s work using the current national curriculum level descriptors.
