Ealing Race Equality Commission report

The Ealing Race Equality Commission was tasked with listening to people who live and work in the borough about their experiences of racism and putting forward proposals to address inequality.

The report was published in January 2022 and includes recommendations in a range of areas including education. The ELP race equality in education programme was established to address the demands of the commission.

Race equality guidance for educational settings

With an emphasis on the achievement of Black Caribbean pupils, this guidance aims to provide points for consideration for all colleagues working in educational settings and schools. It is a springboard for developing and implementing anti-racist education and leadership in Ealing.

The support that ELP provides for schools aims to empower school leaders and school staff to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to effectively address race inequality.
