Free online summer school open to Ealing students aged 3 - 18
13 Jul 2020
Starting on the 27 July, the Znaniye Foundation will be providing widely accessible online education to begin to supplement some of the education lost due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
This includes core school subjects such as maths, English and sciences, creative topics such as drama, art and music, as well as well-being programmes to support students who are facing the hardest impact
The Foundation will have sessions for students of nursery, reception, primary and secondary school age (3-18 years old) that are open for anyone to join. And in order to ensure that any and all students can join the programme, they have worked with the local community and the council to gather materials to support the lessons.
Each session is delivered by a highly trained local teacher, who has also been trained in online education and E-Safety. All volunteers are local young people from our community, looking to support future generations at this time.
In addition to the free online programme, the Znaniye Foundation also has a number of free 'care packages' that they will be distributing to students taking part in the summer school who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). These care packages include tote bags filled with goodies such as pens, as well as education packs that include text books. The Foundation is also able to loan out laptops and revision books.
