Your 2019/20 attendance benchmarks and analysis report is now available for you to access via the 2019/20 reports section on your school page on the Ealing Grid for Learning.

Find your school page on the schools contact database.

About the report

This report details your school’s attendance and persistent absenteeism in the autumn 2019 term. Your attendance report is usually based on two-term (autumn and spring) attendance data. However, due to the partial closure of schools during the spring 2020 term due to the coronavirus pandemic, the DfE have confirmed they will not be collecting any attendance data for the spring or summer 2020 terms this year.

We have therefore based your 2019/20 report solely on the autumn 2019 attendance data you submitted as part of the spring 2020 school census. All over time, Ealing and national comparisons have been amended to autumn term figures, so all data within the report is comparable.

The report provides comparative evidence of performance against other local / similar schools for schools to benchmark themselves against, overtime analysis, borough and national comparisons, a detailed analysis of the attendance and persistent absentee rates of a wide range of specific pupil groups, breakdowns of absence in your school by year group and reason and a list of persistent absentees.

We hope you find these reports timely and useful and welcome any comments about how we could improve them in future years.
