Anyone arriving in England from somewhere outside of the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man must quarantine for 10 days on arrival.

Under the Test to Release scheme, you can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 test. If the result is negative (you have to be England for at least 5 days before you can qualify for the test), the quarantine period ends.

The scheme is voluntary and applies to those quarantining in England only. Anyone not wishing to opt into the Test to Release scheme will need to quarantine for 10 days.
