FSP and KS1: LA offer of analysis of non-statutory primary assessment data for 2021
19 Apr 2021
As we did in 2020, the LA are offering to produce school reports on EYFSP and KS1 data for primary schools. (This is free of charge for schools who buy in to the ELP or the data service.)
As well as enabling us to provide analyses of the data to primary schools in modified LA EYFSP and Key Stage 1 reports (this will not include school by school comparisons - your aggregated data will not be shared with other primary schools this year), this data may also inform borough level analysis of / research into learning loss (again, not at a school level unless you request it and not for accountability purposes but to inform targeted support where it may be needed.)
If you do not wish for your data to be used in research related to potential learning loss, please let us know when you submit your data. But to be clear, any data you submit will not be used for accountability purposes in line with current DfE guidance.
Submit your data by 8 July
As the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile and Key Stage 1 data returns are teacher assessments, we are asking that schools submit this data following the usual process – i.e. by populating it in your MIS system and exporting the data as a CTF and sending it to the Local Authority by Thursday 8 July.
You should follow existing frameworks when making EYFSP and Key Stage 1 teacher assessment judgements. Please submit your data files in the usual way, either via egress secure email to FullaR@ealing.gov.uk or via the DfE Sign In School to School (S2S) system.
If you are unable to use your MIS system for these returns but would still like to submit the data, let us know and we will send you an MS Excel template for completion.
Please submit your FSP and KS1 data to the local authority by Thursday 8 July at the latest. Please submit earlier if you are able, so we have more time to check the data.
If you have any questions or concerns about this process please get in touch with Jennifer - contact details below.
