16th annual Dr John Roberts CBE QC education achievement awards ceremony 2021

All headteachers of primary, special and secondary schools in the London Borough of Ealing are invited to nominate pupils of African and Caribbean descent to receive an achievement award.

This will be the 16th Annual Dr John Roberts CBE QC education achievement awards. Following 15 very successful achievement award ceremonies, this year the event will be held on Saturday 10 July 2021.

Schools are invited to select a maximum of six students of African and Caribbean descent who are motivated, inspirational students who have made significant improvements in their education and who may also demonstrate leadership qualities, and who will have remained committed to their learning in whatever circumstances.


The specific nomination categories are set out below:

  1. Students who excel in all areas of their education
  2. Students who work hard and achieve against all the odds
  3. Students who excel in arts
  4. Students who excel in sports
  5. Students with entrepreneurial qualities
  6. Future Leaders
  7. Students who you would recommend for the main award of Outstanding Student.


Nominations should be made by completing the appropriate Google nomination form:

Nomination forms need to completed and submitted by Friday 4 June 2021. No entries can be considered after that date, as judging will take place over 5 and 6 June.
