Ealing's network of 25 children's centres - supporting families and children

Ealing's network of 25 children's centres offers a range of activities and access to services for young children (aged pre-birth-5) and their families such as:

  • Early education and childcare – Two, three and four year funded nursery places
  • Play activities/sessions - Baby massage; baby groups; outdoor fun & play sessions; activity packs; walk & talk in the park and Healthy Start vitamins

  • SEND support – Offer targeted & specialist support to families of children with additional needs including children with social and communication differences.   • Family health services: Midwives, antenatal and post-natal clinics, breastfeeding support, Infant feeding, child health checks for babies; 1year and 2 year olds with the health visiting team
  • Back to work skills, access to training courses and volunteering
  • Early Start Ealing services
  • IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) wellbeing
  • Perinatal mental health support sessions
