Activities guide for SEND families

Schools are asked to share this activities guide that features SEND sessions, with their school community.

SEND sessions typically have reasonable adjustments applied and staff usually have an awareness and/or trained to support the needs of families.

This SEND activities guide shows places that families can visit, particularly when you have a child with SEND.

The guide also includes:

• A list of schemes and aids to help families access activities.
• Information about local SEND services
• An overview of Ealing’s Strategy for additional and special educational needs, disabilities, and inclusion 2023-2027

The guide was compiled by Ealing Council’s integrated children’s commissioning team and Contact Ealing. And coproduced with parents and carers and both Danielle Regev (Ealing Council) and Selina Eshun (Contact Ealing) would like to thank the families who agreed to have their pictures featured.
