Help improve guidance on dealing with infectious diseases

07 Nov 2023

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) needs your help to improve guidance on dealing with infectious diseases at schools and nurseries.

We want to understand how guidance can help you keep your children, young people and staff healthy and safe.

We want to hear from welfare officers, receptionists, headteachers, admin staff, and anyone else responsible for:

  • making policy decisions about health, vaccinations or infection control
  • dealing with illnesses and outbreaks at your setting
  • sending letters to parents or guardians

If that’s you and you’re happy to get involved, please let us know using this sign-up form.

You can also forward this message to anyone where you work who has these responsibilities.

About the research

Research participants will either fill in a questionnaire, or a UKHSA researcher will get in touch to set up an informal call. You can sign up for one or both of these using the sign-up form.

If you’d like any more information about this project, please contact the lead researcher, Aaron Cameron (aaron.cameron@ukhsa.gov.uk).

If you have any issues or concerns about this project, please email reops.team@ukhsa.gov.uk.
