May half term 2021 free school meal voucher scheme

We will be completing a data checking exercise based on the data you submitted to us in March 2021 for Free School Meal (FSM) pupils, in order to distribute vouchers for the May 2021 half term break.

Action for schools

A file will be uploaded on S2S (School to School, accessed via DfE Sign-In) by Wednesday 5 May, containing all the FSM pupils you notified us of previously. Please download your file and take the following steps:

  1. Indicate any pupils who are now off roll in the appropriate columns at the end of the spreadsheet
  2. Add new pupils who have joined since the last return who are FSM eligible, or existing pupils who became FSM eligible since the last return
  3. Check details for all pupils, in particular, parent email (which is used to send vouchers to), home address, parent name and mobile telephone number. We can only accept one contact per pupil
  4. Send the file back via S2S (renaming the file so it reads 307SSSS_307LLLL_MayHT where SSSS is your school’s DfE number) or email it to Mike using egress.

You must return your fully checked list to us by Thursday 13 May 2021.

We can only accept pupils eligible before or during the May half term holiday (up to Friday 4 June).

The LA does not hold parent contact details for your pupils centrally. It is your school’s responsibility to make sure this list is up to date so your FSM pupils can receive a voucher.
