Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) 2023/24
This service is available for Academies, Maintained schools and Other schools and settings
CAMHS at West London NHS Trust provide multi-disciplinary mental health assessment and treatment for children, young people (aged 0 -18) and their families living in the London Borough of Ealing.
Referrals are accepted from GPs, health visitors, social workers, educational psychologists, other health professionals and schools.
There are many different specialists/multi-disciplinary teams who are experts in children’s and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health. Tier 3 services offered include:
- Child and family team service
- Adolescent team service
- Neurodevelopmental service
- Learning disability service
- Eating disorder service
- Crisis service (known as Alliance)
- Speak CAMHS helpline (New).
In addition, CAMHS clinicians work within the following tier 2 multiagency teams:
- Supportive action for families in Ealing (SAFE)
- Brighter futures
- Intensive therapeutic and short breaks service Ealing (ITSBS)
- Ealing CAMHS learning disability service
- CLiPS and clinical psychology at Ealing primary centre.
The core hours for most services are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Speak CAMHS Helpline is available to discuss any mental health concerns you may have about children and young people who live in Ealing outside of these hours.

Ealing CAMHS tier 3 service
Services offered exclusively by West London NHS Trust are referred to as Tier 3 services with the majority being based at Ealing CAMHS, 1 Armstrong Way, Southall, Middlesex, UB2 4SA.
The mechanism for enquiries about possible new referrals to these services is via the daily duty clinician system which can be accessed by calling 020 8354 8160, Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

Ealing CAMHS tier 2 service
Tier 2 services are multi-agency and have CAMHS clinicians working within them. They are based within the wider community.
