ESCB conference: Tackling domestic abuse – who is responsible? Afternoon session

Free conference for designated safeguarding staff or other relevant members of staff.

If you can't attend the morning session, there is also an a morning session (10am -1 pm) on 3 November.

By the end of the conference participants will:

  • Work effectively in a multi-agency context, with clarity about our partner’s roles and responsibilities and work collaboratively to address domestic abuse across Ealing
  • Recognise domestic abuse as a significant safeguarding issue for children and adults
  • Further develop knowledge of Ealing Domestic Homicide Reviews and how to embed the learning in our strategies and practices for working with domestic abuse
  • Identify how to respond appropriately and sensitively to diversity where domestic abuse is present
  • Consider how personal perceptions of domestic abuse may impact on the work carried out with victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse.
