Part 1: Planning to successfully manage the transition process working positively with the child and families. Planning to consider needs and the developmental stage of children, classroom set up and managing the school day through reasonable adjustments.

Part 2: Practical resources for universal high-quality provision.

Important note: It is expected that schools will book for both parts. However, it is not necessary for the same staff members to attend both sessions.

Part 1 is most relevant for the SENDCo, EYFS lead and reception class teachers.

Part 2 is particularly relevant for reception class teachers and reception support staff.
