Local authority designated officer (LADO)

A message from Lisa Tingle, service manager safeguarding support and quality assurance:

I would like to inform you of recent changes to the local authority designated officer (LADO) service, which some of you may already be aware of.

Natalie Cernuda, who previously held the LADO role, departed in March 2025. Sharon Ackbersingh has now taken over as the new LADO from April 2025.

We apologise for any disruption during this transition and appreciate your patience as Sharon settles into the role.
