Safeguarding alert: Drug warning following death of two people from green pills

School are asked to share this information with their school community: Drug warning following deaths in Southall | Ealing Council

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, two people were found dead in Southall, following attendance at a nightclub in South London on Saturday 24 May.

They are thought to have consumed green pills with an '80' on one face and possibly an 'OP' on the other.

The green pills have been found to contain a potent synthetic opioid, Nitazenes. These compounds are dangerous because they can be 50 to 100 times stronger than heroin

These are illegal drugs and must be managed in accordance with your schools safeguarding, behaviour and discipline policies.
