This research explores trends in smartphone ownership among primary school children in Ealing, and examines differences in ownership across various groups of children.

Invitation to participate

Isabella is seeking input from individuals who play a role in making decisions that influence smartphone use and ownership among children in Ealing. She invites you to participate in a confidential interview, where you will have the opportunity to discuss:

• Perceptions of the ‘Smartphone-Free Childhood’ initiative adopted by many Ealing primary schools
• Views on strategies to delay smartphone ownership
• How parents, community members, schools, and Ealing Council can best support families and young people
