Description:

SAFE Evolve is provided by Anna Freud, and commissioned by Ealing Council, providing multi-disciplinary mental health assessment and treatment for children, young people (aged 0 -18) and their families living in the borough.

Referrals are accepted from schools.

Benefits 

We are an early intervention service working with mild to moderate mental health needs including anxiety, low mood, managing emotions and social relationships. We work with children, young people and their families, as well as provide consultations for professionals.

The services offer includes brief evidence-based therapeutic interventions:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Workshops
  • Consultations for professionals and trusted adults

In addition, SAFE Evolve clinicians work alongside the following multiagency teams:

  • Supportive action for families in Ealing (SAFE)
  • Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) including the Neurodevelopmental team, Eating Disorder team and Learning Difficulties team.
  • CLiPS, the clinical professionals in schools team, is a part of SAFE Evolve
Office hours:

Our service runs during the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am – 3pm on Fridays.

Planned improvements:

The service is being continually reviewed and evaluated to ensure it meets the needs of children, young people and their families and schools.

The team is based in Greenford however, our services are flexibly offered across the borough with both face-to-face and virtual sessions available. We take referrals from GPs, health visitors, social workers, educational psychologists, other health professionals and schools. We are a mild to moderate emotional wellbeing service for children and young people, who also support parents/carers. We work systemically within the community in order to improve emotional wellbeing and social relationships.
