Design and technology remains a compulsory national curriculum subject at key stages 1 to 3.

The Design and Technology Organisation (DATA) has an annotated programme of study for key stages 1 to 3 (link to DATA web shop), including key messages, advice and explanatory notes for schools, available free to members.

This British nutrition site contains a wealth of information to support all aspects of food in school - healthy eating, curriculum advice, case studies and downloadable resources.

CLEAPSS guides
Includes guides on materials and components for technology, instruction on the safe and effective use of tools in primary design and technology, teaching health and safety and the use of constructing equipment.
